As a huuuge Taylor Swift fan, this was a daunting task, but one that needed to be discussed. They all have their moments but only one can reign supreme.
#7 Taylor Swift - I think we all saw this one coming. She wrote this album at an impressively young age and has major bops like Our Song, Picture to Burn, Should've Said No, and I'm Only Me When I'm With You. It comes in at #7, because she could only go up from there!
#6 Speak Now - Of course this album has great songs as well, but just not as many that resonate with me as the other albums. It isn't as consistent with jams as the others are.
#5 Lover - I hate to do this and I know Lover has some of her best songs, but now we are getting to the point where almost every song has to be a jam or it's not making the cut. My favorites that I could listen to over and over are Death By a Thousand Cuts, Cruel Summer, Paper Rings, and Lover.
#4 Fearless - Fearless has all bops from start to finish. This was the time in her life that she was really starting to sing about heartbreak and first loves and I could listen on repeat. It is fourth solely because the top three are THAT good.
#3 Reputation - The only song that I wouldn't listen to 100 times over is So It Goes. I can get down to the pump up rebellious first half and dance around my room to the second half jams. All around greattt lyrics and that is my favorite part about Taylor's music.
#2 1989 - This album was the Taylor we allll loved. All my non Swifties loved Blank Space and Bad Blood and who wouldn't?? All of the songs are masterpieces and my shout outs go to Wildest Dreams, Out of the Woods, and Clean.
#1 Red - I think Red might be my favorite album ever. Taylor was really at the prime of her lyrical genius. Of course I have to mention ALL TOO WELL, it gives major points to Red. Every time I play that album I am reminded of my love for music and Taylor's storytelling.
